Would’ve great if we could insert a clause into Edwards contract that basically says we won’t sack you next season with a clause going the other way saying he wont leave us.

Best to give him an extension and make sure we get a good payday if he does leave for a bigger job.

Nice in theory, but in reality no way. How focused and interested would be RE be in carrying on with Luton if we denied him the chance to talk to Chelsea say. No manager is bigger than the club and as much as RE is fantastic one day he'll go and we move on. I do hope that we would give him at least a full season and not get rid after a run of bad results but I'm quite sure we'll give him a fair chance unlike other clubs.

What happened at the celebrations during Mpanzu interview. Did someone faint or something? Interview stopped, paramedics trying to get through the crowd.

By the time it finished in St George's Square, they had briefly interrupted proceedings 6 times for people needing medical attention. It wasn't that hot to be honest, but people were standing for so long, because the open top buses didn't arrive until 1:30pm, instead of the scheduled 12:15. It was the fault of a few of the players apparently, as they turned up late at the ground.
