I remember the massive cheer when it came up on the Wembley screen that Dan Potts had won the toss of the coin and had chosen that the penalties would be taken at the Luton end. So it came as a big surprise when we took the first penalty as well. I assumed that Coventry would be given the option of shooting first if they wanted. Does anybody know what happened there? Was there a separate toss of the coin for who shoots first and we won it, or did Coventry simply decide they would make us shoot first?

If you get to watch the TV coverage, you’ll see there were 2 coin tosses. After the first one you see Dan Potts raise his arms indicating he’d won that. Then on the second toss you can read his lips saying “We’ll go first.”

Yeah two coin tosses. Much to the disappointment of the fans on the Watford forum. It’s all they’ve talked about. Apparently we cheated
