          At the time it looked like the ref gave a penalty initially. Even the sky commentators thought so.

            Just seen them discuss the decisions on sky sports news.

            Ref was apparently 100% right with the decision. And that Clark was delayed in going down. Having seen it back multiple times I still can't understand those conclusions.

              The referee initially gave the penalty. When booking Clark he points to his earpiece so VAR must have decided it was a dive... poor really because replays look like contact for me

                I think what convinced the VAR team was the way Clark went down after the contact. Think if he'd try to stay on his feet we would've been more likely for the decision to go our way....
