    Lost revenue for Luton pubs

4 less home games next season so that's a lot of dosh lost. I guess it may be made up by showing live away games over the season? Other wise maybe we are given a choice of normal prices or Diamond prices to help keep our few precious pubs alive.

On the flip side, 10000 extra supporters in the town centre every match day in 18 months time due to the new stadium…

Good point though it's 2026 for the stadium isn't it? We must keep them alive until then - I'm doing my bit again today after the parade.

surely though part of having a new stadium will be to have better good and drink offerings to encourage people to stay longer either side of the game ?

Yes, true, but there is the loyalty to a pub/landlord/landlady factor too. We use the pubs in Luton on non football days so want them to stay open.

          That's being a little optimistic

            Why is that optimistic?

18K-20K in the new ground is more than realistic

Brighton used to pull 5,000 before they moved
