As a Coventry fan I wanted to say well done Luton.
As I'm sure you can appreciate, watching you guys celebrate at the final whistle was incredibly painful, but if it had to be anyone, I'm glad it was you.
If it had been either of the hateful salty's from the North East it would've been horrific! But you're a decent bunch who know what suffering is, so I wish you well in the Prem.
I only hope that we continue the trend of being a year behind you in our rise. Whilst I think as a team we will improve again next year, I sadly think it will be a more competitive division.
I'm just glad that we could both prove the football snobs wrong and sell out our ends. One of the biggest ever crowds for a Championship play off final at the new Wembley so at least we showed them!
Hopefully those delicate Premier League fans won't faint at the horror of seeing someone's garden whilst entering you're away stand. It never bothered me as the Family Stand at Highfield Road used to have a staircase overlooking peoples gardens. So I guess I was immune!

It's a shame That play off finals have to happen. Luton finished 3rd. ThT should be the end of it . Promotion. No sky want their pound of flesh. Fight to the death. Sky want heartache. They want it etched on to the TV screen. Coventry are a decent bunch. Your fans were friendly. Your team very good. You just came up short. No shame in losing yo a penalty shoot out. Dramatic heartache either way. I didn't like it one bit. I'm happy Luton won but felt for you Coventry guys. I'm glad it wasn't us losing on penalties. Play offs are disgusting all or or nothing snuff movies for the grotesque satanic pleasure of sky TV owners. Keep going sky blue it will happen.
