    Oak Road Entrance

Random question for anyone ITK - the away entrance - were they originally houses converted into the entrance when the stand was extended or have they always been like that?

The land was sold off in parcels so the houses in each plot were slightly different. The builders just worked around the rights of way & the entrances/exits to the Ivy Road Enclosure to make a bigger profit.

I thought the club bought the gardens off the homeowners?

The club bought the land (fields) off the Crawley family of Stockwood House in 1904-ish. Stadium built then the houses on club land.

Possibly an ultimate museum piece on the train back to Luton last night. Someone had the 180 million pound match ball.

It would seem improbable he did considering where the last penalty ended up.

Yes, between Beech Path and the railway. Can't remember when they were demolished.

I remember them being there early 80s.

                        Club shop was in one.

I bought a picture of Brian Stein.
