It's getting hard to find a manager you haven't rejected these days. Everyone knows you're a soft touch for a quick pay-off now and no-one thinks badly of anyone you've fired because they know that the problem is the club, not the manager.

Unfortunately, he is not of a high enough standard for a club of our size. He is a cheap option for a reason and was given 6 months salary as a settlement. He is great at managing small clubs with little expectation or ambition.

No McBain was older. Used to be a?quiz question when I was a kid. However I had no idea he had been our manager.
