hey motor vehicle drivers

Please, please, please be considerate when you are overtaking us cyclists. I know some cyclists are dicks but generally we are just trying to survive on the roads these days. If you are not sure on the current requirements of the Highway Code then please look them up.
Oh and if you do chose to overtake us in a dangerous way, and then brake test us in a threatening way, please don't do it in an un taxed or un MOT's vehicle.
Many of us are filming these days, for our own safety and protection.
Driving along the embankment the other day I noticed many cyclists were actually going faster than I was …it’s 20 mph pretty every where in central London now. If driving early or late with little traffic it seems incredibly slow .
That rather depends on if the cyclist doesn't want to be overtaken and the roads. Had an incident a few months ago - pissing down with rain, 30 mph road through the town - the cyclist decided to without warning pull out / wobble out so he took up a central position in the lane (only way to get by would be to go onto the opposite side of the road into oncoming traffic)
cyclist knew what he was doing (well as much as someone who seemed to be off his head would be) and made no attempt to move closer to the kerb. Road then had a second lane (a right turn) appear , which gave me enough road to get by without knocking him off (tempting as it was) - moved into that lane and the cyclist feinted to turn right across my path (but wasn't quick enough)
Can't help but agree, even as a non-cyclist. I won't do the thing of citing how so many cyclists seem intent on being an issue but I think that the latest changes to the Highway Code are a recipe for disaster. At least the part about giving way before turning left, no-one in their right mind should be trying to "undertake" a vehicle turning left and most people simply won't do it. I'd guess that a very large proportion of drivers aren't even aware of it.
Also, and I'm sure Buzzard isn't guilty, will cyclists please realise that pedestrians on shared paths are not always able to hear the feeble "ping" that modern bicycle bells emit, and are sometimes not agile enough to leap out of your way. Cheers.
