Wembley parking

Out of general interest I looked on Sheff Utd's website to see details of their cup semi-final allocation. Prices between £20-£120 so a reasonable coverage. But you can park your car at Wembley for £40 (forty)!!!!!

They don't want you to travel by car, they want you to use trains, why else would the put the big events on planned engineering works days, or days when the last trains leave at half time.

£120 plus booking fee for a coach when I looked last year.
To be honest I don't know how that compares with coach parking elsewhere but I would guess that that's also extortionate.

Other than Wembley and City of Manchester, I think that the most that I have paid is £25 per coach. Coventry advertised £30 and book in advance - I didn't bother and we turned up and parked right outside the away end and weren't charged. £90 saved

There were four other Luton coaches there that day. I suggested that none of us should book in advance and they agreed. I said that they were unlikely to turn seven coaches away because we hadn't booked so reckoned that the worst that could happen was that we had to pay the £30.

This is what I hate about modern society. Money grabbing, and right across the board.
