Matt Hancock's daily 'rate' £10,000 for 'consultation'...
Graham Brady for sneaking away from Parliament and 'arranging a few favours', £60,000...
Kwasi Kwarteng, HOURLY rate, £10,000. The man who caused chaos on the international markets and wrecked a few pensions (hopefully Chicory Cappuccino's among them)...
Average private/company Pension returns have increased since start of the year. (mine is doing fine)
Good luck to Matt Hancock (human being) if he can get that sort of income. As David Lammy MP(who earned £141K in 2021 for public speaking) stated "Let’s not be sanctimonious about MPs’ second jobs: There’s nothing wrong with them"
Alex Davies-Jones Labour Shadow Culture Minister broke the MPs' Code of Conduct with "paid advocacy" and is under investigation.
Labour MP Conor McGinn suspended with Labour refusing to reveal the nature of the inquiry.
Sir Alan Capbell (Labour chief whip) is under investigation by the parliamentary standards commissioner.
And to conclude, previously mentioned, Shadow foreign secretary, David Lammy, is being investigated over allegations believed to centre on the late registration of financial interests.
Who is he kidding? If it doesnt interfere with the main job ok but an active MP shouldn't have the spare time. Its a wonder the young people in this country haven't rebelled with the housing crisis government's have forced on them
It will be interesting to see what happens at the local elections. Apparently the government performs, on average, 8 pts better at a GE than it does at a local election.
I think a lot of people who usually vote Conservative will abstain, not directly voting for Labour for fear of equal incompetence or worse. How has our quality of political competence deteriorated so far,so quickly?
Nah. The majority of those that post about Politics on here are sad old fuçkers that smell of piss. They're never going to do anything about what they preach. They just like to bore the shit out of everyone else on here with their blinkered views.
