Just saw your response to the post about is the world heading towards anarchy.
Some very valid points but I think you have missed the biggest current threat, the rise of the Autocrats.
China, Russia, Turkey, Iran, very possibly India are becoming a huge threat to national and world security. Personally I think there is already a 'cold war' between the Liberal, democratic nations and the hard lined autocratic counties.
A lot of countries, particularly in South America, Middle East and Africa are sitting this out, waiting to see what side to back.
I think we are currently in the most dangerous place the world has ever been in.

Thanks for that response. It's difficult to ignore the way that Netanyahu has lurched to the right causing significant problems both within Israel and also to the Palestinians as well as it's neighbours especially Syria and Iran with their current tensions (yes technically Iran isn't a direct neighbour but that whole part of the world is very unstable).
In fact even Boris was starting to get rather autocratic. It's in our doorstep - Jo need to look hundreds or thousands of miles away.

As I told you yesterday history is repeating itself as the world slides unrelentingly towards war. It's started already with Russia invading Ukraine and the only way to stop it escalating is if some brave general puts a bullet in Putin's head.
It's just a matter of time before a national country is invaded or bombed with the most likely being one or more of the Baltic states Anderson then all hell will break loose.
The west let Hitler have Austria and Czechoslovakia and only reacted when he went into Poland, just as the west have let Russia have the Crimea and Ukraine with only minimal objections being raised against the invasion of the latter.
History repeating itself. We never learn or act from history, never have, never will until that is, the dye is cast. It's all slowly unfolding as we sleep walk into World War III.

Israel always seems to be an easy target. By far the biggest threats to the world are Iran, China and Russia.

His actions on there own no, but because of the potential religious connotations it could easily escalate into Iran, Iraq, Turkey, Afghanistan and then the Russians will probably get involved. Not forgetting also the relationship that the USA have with Israel. You might be underestimating the role Israel has in world stability.
Obviously Iran, China, and Russia are the big obvious ones.
