Ticket office website

Still showing Millwall tickets as available for diamonds only
Why do the club struggle with the little off field details like this?
The ticket office would have to do less of the grand customer service stuff if they had a decent IT infrastructure.
Season Ticket Holders can purchase three tickets per person from Thursday 23rd March until Sunday 26th March. Tickets can be ordered online using your unique client reference number, by phone on 01582 416976 or in person from the Ticket Office during opening hours.
Ticket Office opens 10am.
You're on here moaning about info on the (external) purchasing site at 9.54. And using it to make a snidey side swipe about the club's operations in general.
What planet are you on?
And ask supporters of almost every club about the quality of their public facing IT systems. Including the likes of super-wealthy Manchester United with one of the biggest world wide fan bases.
I'm fairly certain they'd appreciate the sensationally good personal service we get from a tiny but incredibly helpful team, inside and outside of hours.
What Mike and the team do is basically brilliant and I'm quite happy to fight anyone* who thinks otherwise.
I do wonder why football clubs seem to find it generally difficult to implement decent IT systems though. Some of the work my own company is doing in the US with "Smart" Stadia is not my idea of football but I'm sure it would make it more attractive to younger fans.
For our part I would imagine that the overall IT infrastructure is something that wouldn't get a lot of attention while we are still geared towards operating in Kenilworth Road. I would imagine one part of the PC investment would be targeted very squarely at the IT systems behind it and also fronting the customer.
And the office wasn't open until 10.... But please don't just repeat what you said before, which in my opinion is not reasonable or respectful of what they actually do do, and I know you won't have meant that.
Perhaps it's because you know what IT is capable of, but as they are in all likelihood - as you and others have said - not investing largely now in the sort of kit they'll need at PC. An ex-regular on here sorted out the basic IT needed when 2020 came in - he's in the business - and said he'd never seen such a mess. They didn't even have a simple data base. So some progress has been made!
It's interesting tht IT is used so poorly throughout football considering the amount of money sloshing around...
Thing is, statistics, analytics, and that area of computer science is very very good, it just seems to be the systems where there's no on the pitch gain that are behind.
I would be curious to see what kind of systems and databases the club has now
I think, to be fair, that you just like moaning for the sake of it. I drove up to the Ticket Office at 10:54 and they provided a couple of tickets very efficiently and in a friendly manner as always.
Don't bother replying again, it'll be a waste of time as I've no interest at all in one of your endless to's and fro's or your need to dominate the board with endless and pointless running spats.
whatever. dont know what you mean. whats interesting about it being so poorly used in this sector?
im all ears. you were the one who said it with a ... at the end? im asking for your theory, you must have one shorely and im not looking for a spat. or are you just going to leave it vague. believe it or not i respect your opinion more than anyone on this board. thats a compliment. you dont need to attack at me thanks.
I think you need to work on your time management and priorities chum. You had time enough to engage in a debate on here for over an hour, but not the time to purchase the ticket you were so desperate to get at 09.54 this morning.
I suspect it kicks in at 10am as it wouldn't be fair to season ticket holders who want to go in or buy on phone if all the tickets could be purchased online in advance of the ticket office opening.
