      Brilliant memories.

It's slightly weird watching games from that era. Different laws regarding passes to the goalkeeper, offside, handball etc. Just one substitute, who hardly ever got used. Pitches that were in a horrendous state long before Christmas. And players seem to have acres of space compared to in the modern game.

John Aston was brilliant, pity we had to sell him. Also can't remember Alan West having such a cultured right foot 1

“Harry Haslam calls him the postman, because he collects everything they give him, and then he delivers” great line from Motson talking about John Aston after Luton’s 3rd

Just enjoyed watching that, thanks RADSB. Brought back happy memories of the sudden bust of speed John Aston had to get past his marker, how reliable Milja Aleksic was in goal and what a hard worker Jimmy Husband was.
