      yup it's horrible.

About 8 weeks ago we went out friends house for a Saturday night of wine and food. Great night and would have had absolutely no idea what was coming.

On the following Monday he had a seizure in the early hours and was admitted to hospital for scans. Grade 4 glioblastoma.

He has been operated on but we believe it's only because he has private medical insurance.

Namely they are pissing in the wind.

It's harsh at times. Best of luck to you all

I hate talking about these things and the will and solicitors etc but he layed it all on me, they applauded him at hospital when he was told he was in remission.

It is going to get 1 in 3 of us at some point. I suspect everyone who posts here has lost someone to it.

Yep, sadly more likely 1 in 2. Horrible thought.

                      Ah sorry to hear.

Even though it's a 50/50 chance it's still a shock to an individual and friends and family.

It seems to be getting worse despite smoking been diminished and I've no idea why.

Maybe the nhs back log on diagnosis? Since covid patients took priority / lack of doctors face too face appointments

                        Cheers trft .

It was getting worse long before vivid to be fair.

This is one of the worst countries in the western world for diagnosing and survival rates.
