    3 key management skills

No one person has all 3 key skills to the standard needed. Motivation, technical, player signings. A few managers might have 2 of these, but generally the management team must have these . Harry Rednapp famously said 'what we know is limited, what we don't know is unlimited'.

I've said it before and I'll say it again; any professional footballer who needs motivating shouldn't be a professional.

TPDC! In some ways u r right but reality is that a lot of players need motivating or having their confidence boosted. Sometimes its the most talented ones that are lazy or need encouragement . I bet u can think of loads over the years

I don't think Alex Ferguson actually did much of the coaching at Man Utd.

Sign of a good manager is to know your limitations and build a team around you to ensure everything is covered.

of course, but between the whole team you should have all the pieces of the jigsaw.

              no one person is bigger.
