I can't see any scenario where they're actually fined anything less than a token amount for a trivial offence.

They'll throw enough money and lawyers at it to get away with any big charge.

All the clubs are at it anyway

If they're found guilty think of the all the lawsuits that will be flying around.

I'm sure some clubs will sue them....think of the clubs which missed out on top four etc and titles.

            It will be very messy.

              Chelski
              Manure
              Arse
              Liver 💩
Etc have done the same , paying 'media bonuses abroad' as tax evasion as example....

Citeh will have counter evidence, if found guilty

Hiding players real salaries by paying them through secret contracts from different bank accounts....

The FA chucked the book at us for paying people the right money from the wrong bank account.

If found guilty of that lot, they must be relegated at least two divisions and stripped of their titles and cup wins.
If not, then why bother having the rules, if money can simply skirt around them.
There has to be a deterrent.

A massive fine of £100M+ which they can pay easily and demotion to either The National League or League Two if they are found guilty would suffice. Similar to what Rangers underwent a few years ago in Scotland when caught acting illegally.

30 is probably a bit strong. 10 or 12 points and a transfer ban would possibly be the level of punishment, with further suspended sanctions.

The PL don't really want to relegate Citeh, as the influx of state cash to the league has helped make it the top domestic league in the world. Relegating them would threaten that. They allowed the Saudis to take over Newcastle, they'll want to keep Abu Dhabi as well.

I'm saying that the punishment won't be as strong as -30. Not because of the nature of the offences. But because it's the PL champions and they aren't a #teamlikeLuton.

If it was to be a proportionate response compared to the -30 then City should be relegated to L2 at a minimum, as their cheating is over a longer period and to a much greater extent.

Virtually no chance. Be a fine and at worst a transfer embargo. they'll have the best lawyers going and they'll run round the PL
