Under 18's last night

They have some great prospects in the side, but last night were outplayed by Preston. They are so used to hammering sides 6/7 nil in their domestic league, that they could not cope with a very professional Preston side. We urgently need to upgrade our academy status to be regularly playing better sides. Wasn't a dome on the Brache agreed, to enable this ?
No way were they outplayed, they won the first half, and played some decent football, just run out of steam , and could have easily scored again, but yes Preston won the second half and eventually the game. I’m sure 20/20 are happy the way the academy is going, so calm down a tad sweet cheeks.
Bit harsh. They played well and while it is true they lost the match, and the result was about right, it was fine margins. Never a case of ‘couldn’t cope with’. They had opportunities to have levelled but didn’t take them on the night.
Not the Brache but close. Thanks to the councillors in South Ward it was stopped. Hopefully there has been some sound logic brought to the table rather than the blinkered view of some on the council.
