He was pretty poor the rest of the time,should have gone back and booked their man who straight armed Elijah in the build up to the goal. He also overruled the linesman when linesman had a better view and missed the pen on Clark.

Might be wrong but was told yesterday that if he plays advantage like he did in the build up he can't then go back and card the offence. New directive apparently.

If that is true then its a stupid rule. Just like the not flagging until someone is deemed to be interfering with play for offside stupid rule. The old rule was so much clearer and did not waste the playing time. Neither the players or crowd ever know now whether a move is good until the referee eventually lets us all in to his little world and writes off several seconds of play.

Tbf I agree, I actually said is he going to book him now, that's when someone said it to me, but like I said I just don't know if it's correct or not.
