He is right. Some of the players have huge egos which do not match their skills. Same at Stoke - former PL players unwanted by other teams running down their contracts. Saints have been in decline for a long time. Sadly, they will not give NJ sufficient time to rebuild. Saints fans like WBA etc. A sense of entitlement - they are no closer to the premiership elite clubs than Luton are.

Hopefully he will be on the dole come may!cannot stomach the pratt,yes he was great for us,but stated he wanted to be in the premiership apart from the huddersfield result he was very close to that with us,so why not stay for this season and complete the target?no he is a greedy little shit!

So why not stay for this season? Because he realised that he'd done as much as he could for Luton, so when a Prem club came knocking...
The Champ-Prem gulf is too big. I don't think most managers can go from a Championship club to a Prem club with any success, especially mid-season.
I predict he'll realise the only way he'll ever manage a Prem club again is by staying with a Championship club that subsequently gets promoted.
