Brilliant start from ‘steady Eddie’ and when you look at the carnage going on down on the south coast you can’t help but feel we are now stronger in every sense and that we got the best out of Jones with the timing of his exit perfect for us!!! Don’t think we could sensibly have asked for more from the edwards era so far and the league record is truly outstanding, only word of caution has to be that we’ve only played 2 top sides in that run in wba and boro and lost both (Norwich and qpr were both in crisis and on horrible runs when we played them) other than that it’s been the championship cannon fodder that we’ve dispatched. With much tougher opposition upcoming it will be a real test of our credentials, with average luck on the injury front let’s hope we can raise our game and put pressure on shef utd

You could really see RE's influence on the team yesterday.
Firstly forty-five minutes was as a complete performance as you could wish for. All the pressing and intensity that we had under Jones, but our passing and movement was exceptional, best I have seen in a long time.
Very impressed with his use of substitutions as well.

The South coast issue was ongoing thats why they sacked the manager , not sure why people even think about it

Majority of football supporters show varying amounts of interest in previous players and managers, managers perhaps more so as they have such a huge impact on a club either way! I don’t wish Jones ill as he has played a huge part in our clubs progress, I also don’t wish him any success as, well, he’s not as ‘Luton’ as he perhaps claimed to be! I’m interested to see how it pans out however and I think because of his heart on sleeve approach there is good value to be had with him. Also purely from a football perspective it’s interesting to see it’s not just clubs or individual players who find the step up from championship to prem very difficult, it’s managers too!!
