When i was a teenager loads of young lads went too games, now the percentage must be right down, with the authorities continued sanitisation of football by banning anyone for trivial things when the older generation stop going who's gonna be watching games in grounds, rant over

It does feel like it is relatively more expensive to go to football nowadays though I have no evidence to prove that.
One thing compared to when I was young, is its now more difficult to go to a football match, certainly at luton, the days of deciding on a friday night/saturday morning to go, paying at the gate and very importantly standing with your mates on a terrace are long gone. Even though there was always a core of us going to go, there was always a number of people that would decide late and make their mind up on the friday night down the pub or saturday morning, you cant do that now and even if you grab a ticket you more often than not end up scattered across the stadium, where's the fun in that?

high cost, the youth having no personality and wanting to sit in their bedrooms, televised games all contribute to people not going games. itll never die as the champagne crew will fill the voids.
do something about it or accept it.

How many fans have we actually had banned?

Not sure I agree with that.
I think the JPT kick started the younger generation and the ease of tickets in the Conference continued that. Our success after that made it even more attractive for the younger generation.
I started coaching kids 20 years ago. Every kid supported a Premiership team. In the last ten years the amount of kids wearing a Luton shirt was at least 50%.
I ran a session for our academy girls team a couple of years ago (aged 5-7). 22 girls there, 20 had a Luton top on!

Sadly that doesn't appear to be the case any more. People get nicked for swearing these days.

Yep not worth the hassle or expense.
As I said below, glad my youth was the conference days. Some great weekends.

Yep, the Met at Fulham were enough to put anyone off, outrageous attitude and behaviour. I gave up on QPR three games ago.
Well up for Cleethorpes on a Tuesday though! 🤣
Having said that I remember some loon getting chucked out at half time there for ballooning at their Harry Haddock mascot. #### off you ####ing fish finger #### is quite memorably bonkers.
It may have been the 7-1 in which case he got lucky.

Fulham was despicable A. I left at half time. Nothing to do with the score! But I could only see it getting worse.
The idiot stewards were being arses to kids who were on the stairs ffs.

I couldn't believe (well I could sadly) what I was seeing. Smacking batons around and pepper spraying indiscriminately from the other stairs. No regard for kids, women etc half of whom had been queuing for refreshments for ages.Official complaints got nowhere as per.
Stupidly stayed to the end though. As I did at Brentford....

I was nearly refused entry for having drunk a beer or two, far from being intoxicated, I asked the stewards for direction, they must have smelt it on my breath.
