Plumbing new recent lows against the Euro.

The international money markets obviously have no confidence in UK PLC.

It’s approximately 10c down on this time last year.

I know you spend all day looking for news that you think is negative to post on here to slag the Government off. Your poor family.
However I have previously and will again spent some of my free time going to schools and taking part in company schemes helping to educate young adults in finance ….so whilst I doubt you fall into that category ( probably bitter old man who is pissed as achieved #### all ) I am going to try.
When the BOE announced a .50% base rate cut this week sterling briefly rallied until the details came out suggesting that this may be the end of the tightening cycle. When the ECB did the same (raised by .50% ) their rhetoric was very different inferring higher rates to come.
So let’s keep it simple for you… I have cash … where can I get a the best return….
Tbf it’s not just about higher rates but that’s the main driver…now are you pleased that we may not have to increase rates further or can you find a negative spin on that ?

I understand how it works Zed, you’ve no need to explain it to me. And I’ll counter your argument by saying that you continue to defend the government at ANY turn despite the size of the f*ck-up in question. That’s why you’re so ridiculed on here and why so many think you’re an idiot.

The fact remains that Sterling is a full 10c off where it was this time last year. And it was low then.

How many times have you read articles ( maybe had the read to you) particularly the US complaining about China keeping the Renminbi artificially low ….think before you write bollox .
Why do you call me Zed?

                    Yes,very interesting.

Sterling moves up and down against the Dollar and the Euro on a daily basis. This is dependent on market sentiment caused by the latest economic data.

The fact remains that Sterling is very close to where it was against the Euro back in 2018.

Tomorrow, have the team fielded, decide they don’t like RE and therefore going to do their best to lose and get relegated, and RE the sack.

This is exactly what you had all your left wing mates are doing to our country. You love a bit of bad news.

Why don’t you all get on board for once instead on whinging, moaning and expecting hand out left right and centre. Then when you get your had outs, you just want more.

And some weak pun about Raheem Sterling in the European Championships...
