Not sure shooting a young innocent 18 year old in the back should go unanswered in law.

What’s good about the whole sorry saga?

I’m trying to understand the mindset of a moron as I’m bored,

You posted ‘good’ do you remember? ( it was a while ago )

A man shoots a person in the back.
A man lies repeatedly in his attempt to cover this up.
A man is convicted on this.

Don’t you find this whole case ‘tragic’?

Sentences for crimes since the Good Friday agreement only carry a maximum two year sentence, I think a suspended sentence is fair.

Easy to post as long as it’s not your family member.

If someone killed your boy and a deal was put in place to protect the killer would you call it ‘fair’?

Never knew that agreement was made as I try normally to avoid the subject as I find the whole episode from all sides as abhorrent.

This case fits in to that category perfectly.

That's the rules, 2 years maximum, both 'sides' agreed to it, including Sinn Fein when the GFA was made. Personally I think a suspended sentence was fair.

It works the other way around as well, terrorists getting similar punishments for worse crimes getting early releases under the Good Friday Agreement.

                            Yes.

                            Hence ‘all sides’

The whole situation is awful. The kids on both sides who were brought up to hate the neighbours. The crooks making money off of idealistic numpties on both sides. The soldiers who are stuck in the middle and take abuse and more, from both sides. The people who suffer because some troops are like football hooligans and treat it like a game.
The politicians who use it for a career. The media who appeared to enjoy the headline incidents.
