I fully understand our position with trying to compete financially with bigger clubs and I have every faith with 2020 who have enabled this brilliant position of being 4th in the Championship. What I find worrying is that teams like Bristol City who have never been in the Premiership, therefore not receiving parachute payments are able to offer our players presumably massive wage increases. We all receive the same sky revenue and perhaps they average a couple of thousand fans more than we get, surely not enough to warrant the gulf in finances?
Also, based on what the club have said in terms of finances, I cannot believe the mentality of some fans who would rather not bother with the Grimsby game even though the income would probably equate to Cornick’s fee.
Unfortunately we cannot consider ourselves true promotion contenders if we sell to mediocre teams and bring back loans that clearly haven’t done well in a lower league.
Anyway, proud to be a Hatter and punching above our weight

They are owned by the 146th richest person in the UK.
          Does that answer your question?

...and recently sold a player for almost £10 million.

Ok fair enough. Presumably that player is valued at 30 times more than Cornick

And they would have broken ffp rules if they hadn't sold semenyo. They've lost 48m over 3 years.

No it doesn’t. How does that comply with fair play rules?
