    Cornick's pace

I keep reading that we will miss it (from the bench). We probably will but I think that Fred is even faster with the important proviso of IF he can stay fit.

Harry seemed to have lost a bit of pace this season, I thought. Surprised to see him wearing the no 9 shirt on his welcome vid at Ashton Gate!

The new lad Joe Taylor is supposed to be lightning fast: intrigued to see him play, as MH/RE obviously rate him highly.

It was great to see Fred back in last night, he is as fast if not faster than Cornick and just as tricky.

I would challenge 'just as tricky' as Cornick only really had pace to beat a man. Without open space in front of him, he was largely neutered, certainly at home ,remained at asset for away games.

His great strength was the understanding of the press, being fit and available and accepting his role. The latter are the unanswered questions on Fred but he offers a far greater threat when available.

Spot on re his press….that’s what got him his last Luton goal against Wigan….when he pressed cockup…

Not looking forward to a forward line of Pepple, Muskwe and Taylor next Tuesday.

With the youth team playing on Monday and the first team on Tuesday, I suspect that you will all be at home with your feet up next Tuesday. Several of the development squad will probably have to be on the bench at Grimsby.

To be honest Cornicks finishing was poor when he had to think about putting his chances away ..lost count of how many 1 v 1`s he fluffed ..

Yep. Always fun to watch but frustrating. A lot more to come from Fred I think, and he's a bit younger than Cornick too.

I assume you are who I think you are comrade - invested in any good shares recently?

A proper LTFC hero, and a huge thorn in the side of C&R.
