    Southampton Transfer Policy

I have every respect for our ex-manager, I respect others differing opinions on this. I am however stumped by his quote from the BBC website on their search for a striker:

"I'm not worried about it, we have a process here. We never panic, we always get recruitment right. If the right one becomes available, the club will do everything they can to get them. If it doesn't materialise we have good players to work with."

Pretty odd, considering he's only been there for a matter of weeks. If their transfer policy was that good, they wouldn't be in the position they're in.

Not too sure why we're continuously referred to as 'his previous club', and not Luton. We all know press conferences are by and large meaningless soundbites, but I'm disappointed by this, and at my age shouldn't be!

Because if he continuously referred to us as Luton in a press conference its likely to upset some of their snowflake fans . probably better to upset snowflake fans at a previous club than a current one

          +1.

Besides, we've got Edwards which has resulted in more attractive football and decent results so far.
