No sign of recalling him. I was excited about his signing but we haven’t given him much of a chance. If Cornick goes maybe bring him back?

Why not offer Harry a new contract ? I think he's still good for us and if somebody wants to buy him ,let them make a proper offer in summer.
Still recall brilliant game he had against Blackburn that kept us up.
      Superb club man worth backing.

Knowing 2020 they almost certainly have already offered him a new contract. But , as others have said, at his age, probably keeping his options open.

Don't you read Facebook? When these players leave because they're going to be out of contract it's always 2020's fault that they haven't re-signed.

I'm torn on Cornick. Been great for us, if a bit inconsistent. However, with all of our forwards fit he is only going to be a bench player, albeit a great option to bring on with 20 minutes to go.

He's of the age now that he probably won't improve that much, so we msy well have seen the best of him.

Not sure we can afford to offer new deals to players that in all probability, will only warm the bench.

Aren’t you only as good as the players who have on the bench? You need a squad a of good players not just a first eleven!

But I agree on Corns as a player, he’s not gonna get much better now, and for it’s whether we need to try and improve on him ..

You're only as good as the players on the pitch.

However, if you played the players on the bench and out on loan, instead, you'd be better.

                    Cheers, Jim

Last year he scored 11 in 36 games for us plus the assists he made. I don't think he needs to get much better to be more than worth his place.

Agreed. His performance at Wigan was his best for some time, to have someone that good on the bench is a great asset

The change in the sub rules certainly makes the bench more important these days.

I just don't know if we should offer a contract to a player, who is not often going to figure in the starting eleven.

I would also imagine Harry wants a regular starting position. At 27, he must be considering his options elsewhere.

So we should only offer contracts to players that are going to be in the starting 11?
