Cornick next to go

Bristol City are in for Harry trying to get him on the cheap knowing he's out of contract at the end of the season

I'd like to think he's more ambitious than that. Having just had his best game of the season, so far, for a new Manager.
If he's not, tada.
Cheers, Jim

No chance of getting Weimman, his salary is way too big, but a great shout. Alex Scott would be a real good signing for Luton. Arguably one of the brightest young midfielders in the division. Great energy and is technically very good.
I personally wouldn’t let him go yet but you can see why Harry may consider if he can get get a game and he would be useful in League 1 for them next season.
I don't think that he has lost pace but rather is not fully match fit. Imo a quality player who offers something different. If he does decide to go please not to Bristol City as I can't stand the pricks. The fact that they seem to offer sackload of wages is akin to someone wealthy who tries to buy friends with material gifts.
From an ambition perspective, Bristol City would be a pointless move. They do have a lot of good youngsters but some of those will be sold in the summer just to balance the books which aren't in the best of health. The only thing that Bristol City will offer is a load of cash such is their mantra and philosophy of doing things.
From a squad perspective it would be suicide. Cornick is a quality player and offers us a different option and style of playing. I'm sure Edwards would know this and am certain that whatever offer Bristol City offer wouldn't even meet what Southampton paid for Bree and would be rejected by the board. I think that the board will stick rather than twist given where we are and what we *could* achieve.
Rather he goes now for a fee than let them have him for nothing end of season like they were planning for but Palace want to sign semenyo from them so looking like it will be done this month
