    Strike partnerships

Is Ade better with Cornick? If they are now back to their best how do you play Morris who has been great, or the others.Teams are about the best blend ,that's not necessarily the best 10 outfield players.

I am sure our management team will make the correct decisions. They work with them every day.

Brian Lewis and Laurie Sheffield partnership was pretty prolific that first season back in Div. 3 in the late 60s.

Definitely the ones you mentioned and Turner and Brown. In my opinion (and I know onions vary) the best two goal scorers I have seen are Turner and McDonald. Stein very close and a special mention for Ron Davies.

My father in law who is 97 consistently tells me Jessie Pye was the best player he ever saw in a Luton shirt.

An old family friend who watched from 1946-2010 told me the exact same thing, Jessie Pye was the best he saw in a Luton shirt.

Pye was superb. Of course they were different days and football is more intense now. He used to flick the ball into open spaces for Turner who had not made the run, so chances wasted. Turner got better in later days.

My late dad absolutely loved Mick Harford, but always maintained that Jesse Pye was the best centre forward he’d ever seen at Luton. Dad watched Luton from 1937-2012.

I saw Pye when I was a lad. He was at the end of his career but was a wonderfully clever who helped make Turner the player he was. I believe he never did well in football management because he had a bad stutter.
