    He randomly said with all due respect the club I was with previously I was never going to be in this position. Meaning being in a cup semi final.

    Maybe he was right but I think back to the Chelsea 5th round tie when he fielded mostly a reserve team and has almost always done his best to exit cups as early as possible. Hardly gave the players a shot at cup glory or more importantly us fans.

    Yet at Southampton he plays his strongest possible teams when they are bottom of the league. I`m sure the fans will be delighted to have a cup run and be in the championship in 4 months time.
