Any news if we are still on course to see detailed plans by the end of the month?
Gary's last update: "But as long as we can avoid any further unforeseen major catastrophes, we will be submitting a detailed planning permission this Autumn."

Lol come on you know the drill, they will leave to the last day (maybe day before) of autumn to let us know due things out of there control, cost of architecture drawings etc, we won’t see them until sometime in spring .. possibly!

Depends if Gary was referring to the meteorological Autumn - ends 30th Nov or the astronomical version which ends 21 Dec. December was always a winter month in my book

Me too, tbf. It was only when we bought our new house that I really paid any attention.

20/20 are good people and mean what they say but I think this won't happen in the foreseeable mainly because construction and finance costs are very high and return of investment very low at this time. It is not like we have a massive waiting list to get into the ground. The sensible thing is to wait and see if promotion happens in the next 2/3 years and at that point start spending big - planning permission can be kept if they dig a few holes but I do not expect to see anything else any time soon

Because it's bollox. I think I'd rather trust what GS, Wilko etc have publicly stated than some conjecture on here.

Listen, you ####ing lunatic - do you have any contact with the 2020 bods? Ever talk to them about this or other issues? Even read their press releases? Are you involved in the Trust and if so follow the information streams from them? Or Loyal Luton?
I suspect not. You just come on here and pontificate with no actual information. And laughably think you have some sort of exclusive insight.

You don't know whether things are going on behind the scenes. And how do you know there isn't a waiting list, even if it's informal?
Re: Power Court

not being funny mate but how many times a season do we sell out? That is with a 10k capacity so I am not clear why you think that a 17k capacity is going to suddenly bring in extra revenue to pay for the debt that the stadium needs to be built. Honestly I am just making a simple logical point which does not need any 'inside information'
Re: Power Court
Posted by Fatsy on 22/11/2022, 17:09:30, in reply to "Re: Power Court"
The season ticket cap sold out at 7,000 and most home games are sold out despite restricted view etc. I am sure like in my case there are plenty of people that would like to get additional season tickets/match tickets but they are just not available in the area or close to the area where I have my tickets. Add on being able to give other championship clubs larger away allocations. Also look at Notts County as an example, traditionally smaller attendances than us, but over 16k for their last home game. I think 2020 are confident that they will quickly have to extend to the full 23.5k as the demand will be there.

The old Noah building has been demolished. There has been a concrete crushing company leading part of it, I don't know if that's still going on. There's a building near the Crawley Green Road end with a demolition company's name, and apart from that the only structure still standing seems to be the electricity sub-station.

Re: Power Court

20/20 clearly want to do what is best for the club - the fans are expecting a new stadium and I am sure 20/20 wants one too but then there is economic reality. Having been involved in large projects I can say that the decision to 'delay' tends to happen very quickly as a number of risks just turn to "red" and then you have no choice. Nothing is decided until it is decided
