    Then why oh why do a minority of our supporters target our own players with such consistent and demoralizing criticism? I'm not talking about the odd frustrated moan but the homing-in anger type.

          You have a short memory. Eli was enemy number one for august and September. Bell gets criticised more than Bree these days despite them making similar mistakes. Jerome doesn’t play enough to warrant criticism and Morris is our best performer atm.

                I've heard Bell get plenty of stick. It's got absolutely fukk all to do with the colour of his skin, like some would have you believe, more to do with the fact although he is reasonably good at going forward, he's often lacking when it comes to the defending part of his game.

                  Yes but Bree gets criticised all the time pretty much by a large contingent. I don't see Bell getting that same level of criticism or as frequently.

              maybe is familiarity that breeds contempt then, just seems bizarre to me that the reactions to players in the same position get a lot less grief and a lot less knicker wetting on a match day if they surrender possession.

              Even absolute wastes of space like Tunnicliffe were treated better than they guy with 3 promotions to his name.

                definitely a fair few in the home end, sounded like blocks E onwards in main stand from where I was sat (not everyone obviously!)

                                      We lack technical ability throughout the team which causes frustration among fans.

                                      A new manager might want to change our style of play but it won't be easy.

                                      Some fans are obviously serial moaners and we do have an aged fan base.
