I'm a huge admirer of Cornick. However, it's hard to disagree with you on that front. |
Once two if their centre halves got booked he was the ideal player to come on. I would have bought him on 10-15 minutes earlier myself. But he didn't really make a huge impact.
I think, hope, and pray that the break will do him good.

He is very average and will never be a proven goal machine.

A forward is supposed to do more than just score goals. It's about their all-round play; holding ball up, bringing other players into the attack, off ball running creating space and dragging your marker away etc. |
Clearly he isn't a natural goal scorer but he doesn't seem to have pushed on from his excellent last season.
