Missed a trick last night - Bradley

Posted by Cuba on 5/10/2022, 10:18:00

At 2-2 Bradley was stripped and warming up from 50th minute but Jones chose to persist with Fred, who was ineffective all night.

Bradley should have come on sooner. He was standing by the dugout probably trying to influence Jones!

That would have kept Pelly further up the pitch and added some stability bearing in mind we were ahead.

Not the end of the world but still a missed chance to win.

We were winning 2-2? (I know what you meant, really)

Yes I know, sorry I was there and can count I promise!

Point remains at 3-2 I felt it was right to make that change ASAP, particularly as Fred did very little.

Hindsight is a wonderful thing. If he changed it and we had conceded, people would have said why did he change it when we were winning.
