Sky insisting the lansbury goal offside

There was a Hull player on the line.
    Stupid cants

You do know the offside rule requires TWO defenders behind the “offside” player. Normally that is the keeper plus 1 defender, so we assume it is just 1 defender. But it isn’t, it’s two.

He was definitely off side. But I'll take it as it writes off the one against us a few weeks ago when we conceded in similar fashion. Coventry was it?

All their commentary has been about Hull. All about them apart from us overachieving last season. So biased.

Adebayo was ahead of the keeper therefore the player on the line was the only player ahead of him which = offside

VAR would've ruled it out, which would've been a shame

He wasn't interfering with play anyway.
When struck part of the keeper was behind Adebayo
Fvck let's disallow every 30 yard strike for teams like luton...

I agree, should never be given for offside but under the letter of the law and VAR it's offside

But he did come back from offside to pick up the ricochet. Thus he allowed the attack to continue.
How often do you see players flagged for offside whem they interfere with the defence around the half way line ....all the time no?

Agree with that. Unfortunately those days are long gone, Football is now a precision sport - and that goal wad precision.

It would be another toenail difference if indeed it was. The Sky pundits saying it was clearly offside obviously don’t know the LoTG.

Tw@ts. A part of the Hull defender was on the pitch, therefore playing everybody onside.

I’m sure I recall some debate a while back about players who are beyond the touch/goal line.

Unless I have it wrong, I think they’re still classed as active.

... that's right - and the defender would be booked if he'd stepped off the pitch on purpose to try to catch the forward offside (which was not the case here).

                        Great strike!

So Ade was level with the GK at worst, whilst the player on the deck was live….So very much onside.

Absolute belter of a strike from HL.
