    The demise of pubs.

As well as the old boozers going, 32 Wetherspoons are going.
    Shocking!
Any of your local pubs closing?
Once part of the community, not so now, sad times.

In my neck of the woods (Worcestershire) the pub is still a central part of the community and we're blessed with huge choice and great quality. For me the British pub is a huge part of the charm of the UK.

The people of this country have themselves to blame.

They choose to sit at home, in their pants, drinking cheap supermarket booze.

They utterly miss the point of a boozer.

Mate, out in Central Beds it's almost impossible to get a pint below 5 quid.

Thats why the pubs are closing.

                I get it currently.

But people haven't been going to the pubs for years.

They prefer to sit at home, in their pants, pissing about on social media, rather than getting out and meeting people.

It's been the same for yonks.
