So think most people are getting the emails now about direct debits. Question is. Have they taken into account the £400 we’re all getting back with their predictions?
We’ve got away lightly being suggested we stick our payments up by £25 a month

My gas bottles going up from £80 a bottle to £160..Electric from our estates turbine from 18pKwh to 48p - not because it costs more to produce but because the grid say it has to be that price. Borrowed £800,000 to put the turbines in 😕

Some are adjusting DDs. Others are repaying the subsidy each month once the DD has been taken.

Received a text yesterday from GOV:UK inviting me to apply on line for the £400.

Scammers are going to have a field day with this.

In 2010 debt was 1 trillion.

              12 years later it's 2-7 trillion.

No wonder you get called thick.

They wind and solar will pay for themselves, they are investments, unlike the money that is currently being thrown around. They will increase our resilience as a country, all of which which we should have been doing long ago but successive governments have failed to do, each failure increasing the costs we will bear as a result.

Yep. In my view what a 'windfall tax' should be spent on, forced investment in the infrastructure to add security to energy supply

We have already forked out for these renewable schemes..not seeing any benefit though..goes into the grid system they sell on open market..we pay going rate

Silly way of looking at it.

We pay far more to fossil fuel companies and the only reason that renewable energy costs so much is because the market is rigged that way.
