Apparently EFL clubs are looking at having earlier kick offs to save turning the floodlights on.

Do you think there will be any pubs left in Luton before too long.

if the pubs close in Luton on football match days everyone will gather in town centre and drink on the streets

We had our floodlights on at half time against Wigan, couldn't really see that was necessary.

It makes sense for poorly supported non league teams but FL clubs, surely the loss of gate money and monies spent on food and drinks would be greater than the money saved on a bit of electricity?

Wouldnít they have a chance to actually sell more food though ?

How so, with a smaller attendance mate?

Would it really make a difference to attendances ? Iím not so sure really.

What will attendances look like for a 1pm kick off on a Tuesday?

Midweek games would stay the same evening kick off times.
It was discussed about Saturday matches.
But with the general poor weather over winter donít most clubs have the floodlights on anyway even for midday kick offs?

Exactly, cant see it making a big enough difference to warrant it.

Really ? Would imagine the fact itís been considered means they probably can save a decent amount of money.
