Just watched Angela Rayner bumble along on the news, she prides her self on straight talking, couldn’t even answer a straight forward yes or no question, just goes to show, Labour and conservatives, same sh*t different cap badge!

After yesterday’s clusterf**k of a budget (no expert, economist, banks. markets etc think it is sensible or costed), this is what you focus on? The Conservatives are the party of borrow and spaff.

Both labour and conservative are totally misnamed - in fact so are Greens and Lib Dems
        - labour - don't represent the interest of the working person
        - conservative - don't conserve anything
        - Greens - support the same globalist policies that are destroying the environment
        - Lib Dems - don't like freedom or individual choice at all
It is almost as if ALL the parties are paid actors who are not really what they say they are

Perhaps that's because there are actually very few simple yes or no answers to questions. I suppose a simpleton like yourself wouldn't understand that.

The question was ‘If you were in power today, would someone on £20k pay less tax?’

Her answer every time was “We oppose the 45p tax break for the elite”

She was asked 4 or five times the same question with the presenter saying, it’s a yes or no answer, then all she would say is about the 45p tax rate until the presenter said that they’re running out of time and you like to be know for straight talking but couldn’t answer a yes or no question!

Don’t quite see how that makes me simple!

Sorry but the question was “Will they pay less tax”?
The answer is yes or no! So we can take from her eventual reply that NO was the answer, hence my original point being Labour and Conservatives, same sh*t different cap badge! 👍🏻

I'm old enough to remember when Labour were in power and the winter of discontent.
Unions were running the country and nearly everyone stopped working.

Sorry, my bad. I must be confusing it with the 3 day week then. That was under the Tories. And the 3.5m unemployed. That was under the Tories too. We really did stop working then.

The three day week was caused by a lack of coal needed to produce the electricity, because the unions were on strike much of the time.

Labour and the unions trashed the economy in the late 70s, the price of sorting it out was the unemployment we had under Thatcher, eventually there was a boom but a lot of people paid a high price.

I’ve never really understood that, thickie Tories in particular, think that union members just go on strike for the fun of it. NOBODY goes on strike just ‘for the fun of it’. It’s an absolute last resort which usually occurs when workers are being fùcked over by unscrupulous employers. It’s really not that difficult to work out.

Their raison d'etre is to represent their members and get the best pay and working conditions for them. And bringing down this clueless, incompetent, greedy government is the one of the best ways of doing that.
