I can understand criticism of the PR, for example it is rather odd and not ideal that the programme notes are not yet available on-line, especially in the context of them including a reference to a further, more in-depth, update due shortly which you'd also hope was published on-line promptly.

I could also understand genuinely new visitors to this messageboard not quite appreciating its history with regard to minions of C&R, Bushwood, Gurney himself, posting misinformation on here under transparently new names. If, after the fourth or fifth time it's been explained they're still spouting bollocks like 'ad hominem' then I'm afraid the only conclusion it's reasonable to reach is that they're maintaining and defending their anonimity precisely for the reasons that are being cited.

You want to ask genuine questions, ask the club. Ask why they haven't published the programme notes and therefore put them on notice that the upcoming update will be keenly awaited.

You want to openly ask genuine questions on here, do so under your regular posting name. If you don't have one, why not? What do you actually gain from not doing so, apart from all of the things that a shit-stirrer would require.

      It's really not difficult.

      Cheers, Jim

Equally Jim, how about you use your much vaulted reading comprehension and try to understand if someone is asking a genuine question or shit stirring before calling them a snide wanker, insinuating they're a coward and pissing their pants.

I think the whole 'email the club's answer and wait for the programme is a bit childish. This is a messageboard which prides itself on being registration free. There is no requirement for a regular name whatsoever and we're entitled to discuss things on here.

          'vaunted', not that it is.

And, I have. I can only conclude that your reason for refusing to accept that people might be suspicious of new-name, shit-stirring is because that's precisely what you're doing.

And it was 'snide cunt', you still appear to be pissing your pants and demonstrably are still being a coward by refusing to stop hiding behind anonymity. What name do you usually post under and why aren't you doing so now?

          Cheers, Jim

              Name another.

It't the only conclusion I can draw from your inability to understand the arguments put to you and your refusal to accept that the reason why your questions aren't taken seriously is because there is no known history of who you are.

It's been explained more than enough times. You're either really stupid or you're deliberately, unashamedly, trolling.

              Cheers, Jim

There were other new names on the thread yesterday yet you didn't go and call them wankers. Probably because they didn't ask questions about the timescale. So don't pretend your attitude was purely down to you not recognising my name. You attacked me because of a kneejerk reaction to what you thought was being said.

I don't think my questions deserved the abuse I got from you. I don't particularly care how many times you think you've explained it. It doesn't make it any more acceptable in my eyes. Enjoy your day, Jim.

Again, the reading comprehension. It was a general comment about "people like you (new-name wankers)", so yes I did.

Again, I said what I said. You feel free to (mis)interpret it how, and (mis)infer what, you see fit. Apparently, I can't explain it in words that you'd (want to) understand.

Why do you need to hide who you are? Start with that one and work from there.

                  Cheers, Jim

As I said, maybe work from the basis not everyone has an agenda against the club and some are asking genuine questions. Whether JimmyP deems to recognise the poster's name or not is immaterial.

                    Enjoy your day.

Again, no. Again, you want to be taken seriously use a recognisable name. Otherwise you won't, for good reason, and not just by me.

                      And you don't mean "deems".

                      Cheers, Jim

Good points there Jim. It's how we go about it, that matters.

Might be a few wolves in sheep's clothing prowling around, chipping away at our club.

And of course a few sheep in wolves clothing 🙄

Can see both sides of the story here.

Don’t think anyone, in their right mind who is a true supporter could even begin to criticise 20/20, and reading the majority of the posts I don’t think anyone did.

On the flip side, those that did ask a polite question, appear to have been somewhat criticised for it.

I think the very point that GS stated that detailed planning was going in at the beginning of the year, has caused just a polite update question .

Yes we all know probable reasons like ever changing building costs/ confidential issues…

But with the recent history of Larry and his crew, and the fifty plus year wait from some people, personally a little bit of an update in some form, would calm the waters…

I think we have the right people trying to make it happen. They have proved to be very shrewd business men, that is how they got their money in the first place.
It will happen, and I hope in my life time, but if not the Kenny can carry on being our " intimidating " home.
I love the place so i'm not in any hurry.

A lot of fans just want the best for the club and moving to the new stadium will hopefully take the club to the next step, also Kenilworth Road as much as it is a magical place, it is very restrictive due to the how many it holds. So naturally people will want us to move asap.

As with all fan bases, there will be fans just out to cause mischief and stir things

We also (unfortunately) live in a world where people demand everything now.

I'm just as impatient and want to see a new shiny stadium, but we just have to trust the board, (they've earned our trust in abundance over the last few years so lets trust they will update us once there is something to announce)
