I wouldnít swear to this but I think the bloke sat two seats to the left is Mick Hazard - ex Spurs and Chelsea. I do know - having been told by someone from Sunderland who knew them both - that they were well acquainted with one another in their schooldays. In fact Iím in the process of contacting him right now to find out for sure.

Correct. There are 2 other lads in that photo who also became professionals with very decent careers.. Any ideas ?

Iíve just named one of them.

To answer your question though his name escapes me but Iím thinking of that fellow who played for Portsmouth..?

Kevin Dillon is the other name Iím thinking of.

Iím gonna hazard a guess (no pun intended) but Iíll mention the name Chris Waddle. He too was acquainted with Mick as a young fellow and I believe played in a few junior teams with Mick.

My mistake. And your spot on Mick Hartford, Micky Hazard and Kevin Dillon to the right of Mick.

Have you got the names of all that line-up? If so is there anyone with the surname Smithson or Ayre?
