    Partnership With Luton

Posted by Grimsby on 2/8/2022, 11:32:58

    Hello

Just been listening to our chair on the BBC, said that we are exploring a future partnership with Luton, think when we were both in the Conference a lot of mutual respect between the clubs, and seeing how youse have grown and gone on since then, its a benchmark for us. Hopefully the start of something promising between 2 good clubs

The Omar Bogle song to Blur’s Tender is the best football song I think I’ve heard. Repeatedly sung when he got a brace at the Kenny and tore Alan Sheehan a new one that day.

I noticed on Saturday that Omar Bogle and Omar Bugiel scored the goals in the 1-1 draw between Sutton and Newport.

Been to Sutton a few times and seen Omar Bugiel and although he is decent, Omar Bogle was unplayable that day, and his future looked very good but it really has stagnated after many clubs. Shame.

Aren't both clubs part of the Fair Game initiative?

But Grimsby were under completely different (and fairly disastrous) ownership when we were both in the Conference, so how does that add up?

Maybe you're just another shit troll with another shit routine. The board and management are completely different too.

Though, actually, it could be quite an interesting idea.

I see your chair said this (in paraphrase) so apologies to you as the original poster, though my point about the conference years still stands.

Keen to develop a relationship with Luton to potentially take some of their players on loan in the future.

That could work really well I think.

Makes sense - we get your decent prospects whilst you languish in the lower echelons….

Probably more a case of us loaning them some of our fringe/young players for development.

Things like that will only encourage the PL's plans about B teams and putting their youngsters into the FL.
