Anyone used it in the last few weeks? Is it carnage?? Any idea if many flights were delayed or cancelled? Thanks.

Travelled from and to Gran Canaria last week. Terminal was busy but bag drop and security as good as expected for this time of year.

Only issue was Swissport not having somebody to let us off the plane when landing back at LLA, so had to wait on the plane for 45 mins.

Used it last week. Absolutely no bother at all.

I went through luton yesterday, no problems at all. I got through security in 10 mins, the terminal was busy but is summer holidays. I noticed only 1 flight cancelled late yesterday, so good overall.

Luton by and large has been fine all summer. A bit of a success story where people love to bash the council.

It took 75 mins to get through security at Heathrow a few days ago. A lot of airports abroad are actually far worse.

Manchester is always a shit show even before Covid.

Wasn't great, but that was probably more to Ryanair and their insistence on doing everything with the maximum number of pennies pinched and corners cut

Used Luton and Heathrow in the last couple of weeks.

                  Luton absolutely fine.

                  Heathrow (T3) an absolute shitshow.

It is peak holibobs season though, and people are generally fcking stupid, so I would add time to be on the safe side.

I went through there last month, an early morning 6.30am flight when it's at its busiest, was absolutely fine.

Ditto. No probs with early flight from Luton a month or so back. Heathrow was mayhem two weeks back, particularly at passport control coming back.

Gatwick was utter chaos in June - security was ok, but terminal was packed, not enough staff to have everything open, half the lounges shut . Delays in loading luggage, 2hours to get luggage back (after sitting on a non moving plane for 4 hours)..

Yep, my experiences as well. Gatwick packed and difficult to even get a cup of coffee. Luton was busy but nothing unusual for the Summer period.

Used Gatwick on Wednesday morning and was absolutely fine. As were the trains despite a rail strike.

Went through Gatwick on 22/06 and 01/07 absolutely no drama or delays.
