She certainly wouldn't be as cautious as old Safegate.

England were by far the best team in the tournament. A deserved win

As for Southgate and the men, he needs to build a system that gets the best out of Foden and take the shackles off. The tempo the men play at is far too slow. It is so easy for the opposition to get organised against Southgate's England because they move the ball so slowly

I was at a sportsman's dinner the other night and Harry Redknapp was the guest speaker. He can't believe that Southgate won't pick Grealish.

Southgate is a typical FA appointment ad he has no skeletons in the cupboard.
Greenish is one of the most naturally gifted players we've produced in recent times.
Southgate got Middlesbrough relegated. Had our highly rated under 21s finish bottom of their group yet is praised as the national team managed to get past Tunisia and Panama.
Surely anybody worth their salt would resign after losing 4 nil to Hungary?

He doesn't pick him because he doesn't trust him to work hard enough off the ball imo.

That is the excuse that a succession of England managers have used - work rate off the ball. Forget creativity, skill, invention and all that stuff. That's why Carlton Palmer got a fair few caps and Le Tissier won next to fukk all. At international level you won't win things on work rate alone. You need a bit of magic

How many water carriers does a team really need?

Grealish is just a sh*t Harry Cornick anyway.

                  Weird ain't it?

Despite his relative success, U reckon Southgate is just going to be remembered as yet another England manager who didn't know how to properly use the talent at his disposal. Virtually any other national team in the world would love Grealish and Foden available to them
