Looked just...see what you mean..bbc be on it tommorow you see

No sign of that. Not a jot, not a line, not a word.

Meanwhile your mates at the Mail started the day with another scaremongering story, this time about the value of pensions. It's way down the page now - the reaction from their own moaning minnies was pretty damning, so perhaps they took it down. Equally, there is zero about the report into government response to the pandemic - top story everywhere else - unless I've missed it. That's the Mail for you.

    Still, BBC eh?......

My mates at the mail..well not a major fan but today's front page is rightly criticising boris and co handling of the pandemic..Pension rises for those eligible and rubbish..moan about the stopping of 20 benefit no mention of pensioners going short...the bbc do not mention either..just a Marcus Rashford love in this morn on his doctorate from some university..

Absolutely nothing on the BBC website today about Rashford, whereas there is a massive feature in the Mail online about pensions - it was top story this morning but now down the page. Under this headline, if you have any interest in what is actually in the news or isn't:

The cost of comfortable retirement has already gone up by 2,200: Couples will need to find extra cash to sustain post-working lifestyle after Covid pandemic, research shows

and what a load of tosh that report is, part of the make up of that figure o=is a 500 a month eating out in restaurants allowance.

Oh I agree totally. The point is, it was the Mail scaremongering again....whereas some blinkered plonkers only want to blame the BBC.

What also amuses me if why the Mail feels the need, in every story about household budgets, to illustrate them with charts of product pictures. It couldn't be, could it be ,(and I don't want to confuse Bored in Flitwick - who already seems to have lost a day today) PRODUCT PLACEMENT, could it? 😯😯

Pardon? Once more in English, please.

By the way, Marcus Rashford got his Honorary Doctorate from Manchester University last week.

We don't all waste time watching breakfast tv.

He was awarded the degree on 8th October.

                Who is Sally Nugent?

                  Really?

Why were you watching yesterday's BBC Breakfast this morning (this morn as you said above)? Are you actually 'Bored in a Timewarp'???🤣🤣🤣

He didn't mention his book, neither did his interviewer - it was about racism. You didn't actually listen to it, did you Timewarp?

You obviously choose to watch those programmes, otherwise you wouldn't know who was on them.

                          Re: Really?

Who cares? It shows you're just making random claims, to be generous. Lying, the more harsh would say, but I'd call it desperation to make a point. What about the Mail and their scaremongering? Not interested in that, just having a go at the BBC? No one is forcing to buy a TV licence, you could just stop watching it entirely. And listening to the radio. And reading the website.

You don't have to watch breakfast television.
You don't have to watch Graham Norton.
You don't have to watch anything you don't want to.
Look through a tv listings magazine beyond the first few channels.

You actually said:..chat about Rashford or Joan Collins new book..

Perhaps you should have paid attention at school, then you might know something about constructing a clear statement. Not having a good day or two, are you?

'Then I can choose'. It's not all about you. I can't choose whether or not to pay for your adult education...
