    Derby (again)

The Wigan administrators appealed their points deduction after they were appointed, I wonder if its something they feel they need to do to demonstrate they have taken all available steps and avoid any future liability? There is, I believe, a force majeur clause linked to the 12 point penalty, but if it could be used then Id expect just about every team in the Championship to enter administration to clear debts.

I posted something similar earlier - they surely have to try every avenue to make the club attractive to a prospective buyer, so they may feel that they have to at least be seen to try this. I very much doubt that they actually expect to succeed (although the fans are another matter).

I've read a lot of comments from Derby fans today on twitter who seem to genuinely believe they've only gone into admin because Covid stopped their income and Covid has stopped them from being taking over.

Simply put Mel Morris made a decision to stop funding the club. He is incredibly wealthy and could have afforded to fund it if there was a genuine chance of that club being bought anytime in the next few months.

Have you pointed out to them on twitter the facts you posted on here earlier today? If not, perhaps you should?
