Remember my first visit to The Parrot, 3 of us walked in and it was not too long before we were being questioned as to what we were doing there by some of the clientel. Luckily we had arranged to meet a regular and once we mentioned his name they were fine with us.

Even on normal days you had plastic pint pots. Floor sticky and stinking like piss. But £1 a pint. Cheap to get started before moving on to a better establishment.
