Ricky being interviewed by on the continent podcast. Google ricky hill on the continent and it's the football ramble podcast. Worth a listen. He is probably one of the best luton players I ever saw. The racism at the time was unbelievannle. I think orient away maybe was worst, fuzzy memory. Before offering an opinion listen and process. My instant reaction was not favourable to Hill. I understand though where he comes from.
I remember he took a corner at the Kenilworth end full of Chelsea knob heads. They unfolded a Nazi (Swastika) flag that must have been about 30 square foot, at least, and the whole of the Kenny seig heiled him. I don't think I have seen a worse sight but it showed what Ricky had to contend with and what a brave man he is.
