Club statement on the transfer embargo

Looks like, unsurprisingly, the EFL messed up. Either way, it wonít affect the summer window.

Have to say I disagree with the club for once on this one.

The EFL decided to apply a more stringent deadline than companies house which all member clubs should have been aware of.

Our finance director has unfortunately messed up here.

There really is no reason for not preparing and submitting accounts by now - saying otherwise is just using the pandemic as an excuse.

You can disagree all you like but they aren't in the wring and the main reason why companies house are extending the deadline is actually to help companies AND auditors who haven't been able to complete their compliance.

An "excuse" companies house has deemed acceptable to every business in the UK.

As the club statement says, it makes no difference to anything. So long as 2020 focus resource and attention on the things that matter then there's nothing to complain about.

The fact they had to even make this statement is ridiculous. As if they donít have enough on their plate with the current situation as it is.

Modern football and modern journalism at their finest there.

Well there's a shock, EFL messing up combined with lazy journalism. Although the situation remains a serious one. It's diabolical that football or rather the PL finds loopholes in the competition law to create such an unfair playing field and even worse that nobody can challenge it.

Is that why you believe that viruses are contagious?

If viruses are not contagious, how do viral illnesses like colds, flu, chicken pox and rubella sweep through places where people are close together in large numbers, such as schools, offices no factories?

You really need to get up to date and stop believing discredited theories from the 19th century cranks.
