    Watching on ifollow

Not for the first time we go into an international break in form and then lose form straight after. A case of lost momentum perhaps. Never in this one until they missed their penalty and Collo went up the other end and to reduce the deficit. Barnsley have more to play for and it showed. They played the high line pressuring us into mistakes and knocking the ball long. We certainly won the offside count. First half we lacked width and service to our front men something and when that finally came a rare mistake from Sluga gave Barnsley a 2 goal cushion. We huffed and puffed thereafter but to be honest we didn't look up for it. A KR crowd is what was needed, but in the end it was the penalty save that woke us up but too little time to get the equaliser. I'm sure most of us would have nothing against Nathan trying new formations and looking at players who he is undecided about. The end of season is almost a prolonged pre season with safety all but ashored. Barnsley have now won 7 away games on the bounce and have a good record at this ground. A not too unexpected result then. Personally I'm happy to be in our position in this league and can't wait until next season with the fans back and watching football the way it should be, with 10k screaming hatters. We lost today but the aim for this season has already been achieved.

Just played two teams wanting a result far more than us, a bit worrying is that the next two games the same. We are pretty much certainly safe.

I hate to burst your bubble but you'll never see a full KR ever again.
